We enjoyed our all day tour to Fatima very much. The pick up and drop off at the hotel was very convenient, especially for tourists who are not familiar with the city. The guide was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable., The stops were historical and interesting. The lunch provided was very well done in a lovely seaside restaurant. (Nahzare) . We were a little disappointed in Obidos, however, we do realize that the tourist season had not really begun as yet, and the shops and restaurants were not fully operational . We appreciated the stop near Fatima to do some shopping to give us more time at the Basilica. The driver was diligent and knew Lisbon and surroundings well. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. We booked our tour to Fatima, Batalha, Nazare and Obidos on the internet before leaving the states. After confirming the tour on arrival in Lisbon, the pickup was made at our hotel right on time. Dear Riu My sister and I visited Lisbon last March with our elderly father. He is 80 years old but very active and loves to travel to new places. Because of his age we always do a private tour and Lisbon was no exception. I ordered the SINTRA , CAISCAIS ,ESTORIL TOUR AND IT WAS FOR 5 HOURS. Our guide arrived on time and had excellent english and was very friendly and courteous.We had a beautiful air conditioned Mercedes. We went to the palace in Sintra first - high up in the mountains where the Portuguese Royalty escaped the hot summers. it was amazing. From there we headed to CAISCAIS over the mountains down to the coast and stopped off at the most Westerly point in mainland europe. The scenery was stunning - .We got our names on certificates stating that we had been at the most westerly point in europe which was a nice souviner of our trip. From there we headed to caiscais for lunch - Wow! our driver brought us to a famous seafood restaurant it was literally on the atlantic ocean, huge glass windows with the waves crashing beneath our table - quite stunning really- The food was fabulous I have never eaten so much LOBSTER in my life ! beautiful! after that we carried on to estoril a lovely place and then on lisbon where the driver went our of his way and brought us all around the city up and down winding streets until we arrived at the highest point in the city. I have never had a view quite like it. Finally we were dropped back to our hotel . It was a most memorable day and I REALLY mean it - The memories have flooded back to me now like it was yesterday and it was last year. Well done Lisboa sightseeing. We saw the best of what lisbon has to offer without any effort at all and we saw it in style!!!! TOP CLASS. My wife and I enjoyed all three tours very much. Our favorite tour was the one to Sintra, Pena, Cascais and Estoril. The National Palace was beautiful and restaurant was excellent. The full day tour to Obidos, Fatima and Nazaire was also very good, the guide was excellent as was the food at lunch. The tour guide was very good and she made the best of it. In April of 2006 my travelling companions and I used the services of Lisboa Sightseeing. We hired a car and driver in both Lisbon and oPorto. We enjoyed our experiences in both cities very much. We were absolutely delighted to see the smiling face of your driver standing beside a sparkling Mercedes at the cruise ship pier. The driver speed us through the outskirts of the city pointing out highlites and then drove us through stunning countryside to Fatima. First he took us to a religious superstore to buy souvenirs and then dropped us at the Fatima site. Following our visit he whisked us back to the pier with time to spare before our ships departure.
